  • 7 quarts plain popped corn
  • 2 cups slivered almonds (or other nuts)
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until mixed. Boil for about 4-5 minutes while stirring.
