  • 2 packs Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large apples (2 Honeycrisp and 2 Granny Smith)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 5 tbsp butter (for streusel topping)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for streusel topping)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for streusel topping)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for icing)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/21 tsp cinnamon (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin with softened butter.
  2. Slice apples thinly and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter, and cornstarch dissolved in water. Heat until thickened.
  3. Press each cinnamon roll into the muffin tin to form cups and fill with the apple mixture using a slotted spoon.
  4. Combine streusel ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle on top of each roll.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling for a few minutes before drizzling with icing made from whisking together melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
