  • 1½ teaspoons chili powder
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 2 cans diced green chilies (4 ounces each)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken with chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a stock pot over medium heat; sauté minced garlic and green onion whites until fragrant.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, cream cheese, and sriracha; bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken mixture along with Monterey Jack cheese and diced green chilies to the pot; mix well.
  5. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes while stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning before serving warm.
