  • 1 lemon
  • 6 Tbsp. butter (divided into 4 Tbsp. and 2 Tbsp.)
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or half & half
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 4 Tbsp. of butter, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Squeeze in the juice from the lemon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the white apple vinegar (or chicken broth) and allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining 2 Tbsp. of butter, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste until melted.
  5. Gradually stir in the heavy cream (or half & half) until well combined.
